Ruth has over 11 years of agency and in-house experience in public relations and marketing communications. Ruth’s key focus lies in consumer and business-to-consumer messaging. Her core competencies lie in messaging for regional retail brands in markets across Southeast Asia and the execution of traditional campaigns. Starting out as a journalist, Ruth has also worked on brands such as msn.com.sg, Lee Hwa Jewellery, P&G’s luxury hair and fragrance division, Li & Fung’s Branded Lifestyle Retail Singapore’s group of brands including Salvatore Ferragamo, Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear. She also oversaw marketing communications for Gucci across Singapore and Malaysia.
She was also responsible for the launch of TUDOR Singapore’s first standalone flagship at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands in 2013. She also led the launch for the first Asia Pacific footprint for the Limited Group’s Bath & Body Works at the same mall in 2014.
Ruth was most recently the regional PR manager for AAE Travel, the joint-venture between Expedia Inc and AirAsia. She oversaw the regional messaging for 14 markets across Asia and also assisted with the Southeast Asia markets’ communications planning and budgets.
